What is Biological Repair Decoding©?
Bio-decoding is a method created by the psychobio therapist, Master NLP, Ericksonian Hypnotherapist, and Christian Flèche. This method helps us understand the connection between biology and emotional conflicts. Disease, according to Christian Flèche, is an adaptation program that allows us to overcome trauma and painful life situations that limit our capacity to overcome those difficulties with the right approach. We must remember that we are the sum of all the adaptation programs humanity has been incorporating for millennia.
The body, the psyche, and the brain are a unit. What the mind registers, the body feels. The way the mind expresses itself is actually through the body and, therefore, through physical symptoms. Emotions associated with disease run in our non-conscious mind, allowing us to feel them as if there was no time. They stick to our psyche and depend mainly on our belief system. It's possible to work and transform this system to resolve past traumas.
We can experience life in two different ways: externally and internally. The internal world, which compromises our cells and organs, is stable and fixed, while the external world constantly moves and changes. The internal and external worlds should be well balanced. To meet this balance, we must satisfy our biological needs. When this does not happen, the response is a disease. It is important to remember that disease comes not only from an internal imbalance but, as I mentioned, from the external, meaning the environment, contaminants, food habits, work habits, etc. In my practice, I only analyze symptoms from an emotional point of view and not a physical/environmental point of view. We always talk about symptoms when you have already had a diagnosis and treatment if necessary. I don’t give any kind of medical advice in any circumstance.
The most important aspect of the disease that we must remember is that every disease has a purpose for our body and mind. Once we understand its purpose, we become aware of it.
And AWARENESS means FREEDOM.
We use Biological Repair Decoding© in combination with other two techniques which helps to "repair"or solve emotional conflicts.
What is a belief?
Beliefs are how our brains make sense of what's happening around us. They are mental representations of how the environment should be. These mental representations are like shortcuts for the brain and help to process information in a more efficient, energy-saving manner. Understanding that the brain prefers familiar patterns over unfamiliar ones is essential, which means that those patterns we have already learned and incorporated will make our brains consume less energy. Learning new patterns is a process that takes time and effort. This concept is far more complex than it seems, but this is one of the reasons why it is so difficult to change beliefs. We first learn from our parents; for a child, believing in the parents is essential for survival. Our self-concept will also determine our belief system. Therefore, it is necessary to be aware of those beliefs that don’t serve us anymore.
Our core beliefs, which define and shape our internal world, are deeply ingrained in our unconscious and hold significant power. They can lead to illness and unhappiness if left unexamined. One example is the presence of self-defeating behaviors that hinder your ability to feel good, happy, and healthy. Core beliefs influence our decision-making and impact how we relate to others, even influencing our choice of toxic relationships. These beliefs create patterns that may take time to break. However, you can transform these core beliefs and patterns by recognizing and bringing them into consciousness.
The transformation of core beliefs can positively impact your life and overall well-being.
Programming conflict and triggering conflict
When analyzing the emotional issues the client wants to solve, I consider two concepts: programming and triggering conflict.
Programming conflict is the initial emotional conflict that becomes programmed in a person's physique. This first emotional impact creates an imprint on the person. Our unconscious mind usually protects us by hiding or repressing this conflict. The problem is when we are once more exposed to an event with similar emotional baggage (triggering conflict).
In the framework of Biodecoding, a programming conflict is an unconscious emotional conflict that gets "programmed" into a person's biology due to unresolved trauma or emotional conflict. This trauma or conflict can result from the person’s own experiences, or they can be part of the emotional inheritances from the family clan.
Triggering conflict refers to activating the programming conflict through triggering life events activating emotional responses tied to conflict or past trauma. According to this view, this is when the body can express the emotional conflict through physical symptoms.
Bio-Transgenerational Decoding©
Concepts of family transgenerational therapy:
As part of the therapy, we will use some tools of family transgenerational therapy. The decoding of the possible traumas, diseases, family secrets, and the possible transgenerational link will help you:
Understanding how family members responded to specific difficulties in the past can provide information about the belief system in the family clan and how family dynamics influence the rest of the members. For example, the way some family members experienced their marriage among spouses, parenting styles, social life, work life, poverty, war, situations that caused shame to other family members, dissidents, immigration, incest, addictions, and different types of abuse and violence; left a print on the whole family clan and, therefore, on the descendants.
Unresolved traumas can translate into harmful patterns transmitted from generation to generation. We become aware once we understand how these patterns affect our present decisions and well-being.
Emotional inheritance transmitted to the descendants happens through beliefs, behavioral patterns, and emotional patterns embedded in the family psyche. It happens through nonverbal communication, family dynamics, stories, and roles that perpetuate emotional legacies.
Transgenerational epigenetic inheritance would be the scientific support for that theory.
We inherited a transgenerational legacy from our family clan. This legacy includes the norms and rules imposed and learned within the family system and unresolved traumatic events, such as unresolved grief, unspoken traumas, or family secrets. We analyze this legacy using significant dates such as conception, birth, and death.
Which information will be needed?
The therapist will ask you several questions that can help you find the clues you need to make the correct link between your family history and your current problem. The therapist may even suggest that you visit a family member or talk to someone who knows more than you about what members of your family clan experienced. Understandably, this is not always possible, so we will use the information you remember or how you feel about them. Working on your thoughts and feelings about them can also help you understand your beliefs and perceptions.
You will need to gather information about:
The main goal of using concepts from transgenerational therapy is to find clues that will help you relate your current problem or situation to potential unresolved traumas experienced by your family members across generations. After collecting all available and relevant information, the therapist will work on the genociogram.
The genosociogram
“A genogram is a family tree diagram that depicts organizational patterns and emotional interactions across at least three generations" (Mary B. Ballard, 2016). With the genogram, we can observe family behavioral and organizational patterns and relationships. We can represent these interactions with different shapes and lines, such as marriages, divorces, children, sibling positions, deaths, and other significant events.
In my practice, I use an extended version of a genogram that Anne Ancelin Schützenberger described as a genosociogram.
The genosociogram will also represent aspects and behavioral interactions of the extended family considering the environmental situation, such as the family members' social, cultural, or economic background.
What is Reparative Regression Hypnosis©?
Reparative Regression Hypnosis© is part of what we commonly know as regression hypnotherapy, and it is a light trance that helps the person relax their body so the mind can remember or find the suppressed memories. This process will ultimately help you find a new perspective on your life experience. We also use some extra tasks, including mindfulness and rituals, to offer the conscious mind more tools to change perspective and, therefore, some of the beliefs involved when the trauma or situation occurred.
What is Regression hypnotherapy?
Regression hypnotherapy is a type of hypnosis that helps you to go back in time and release emotions involved at the time of a traumatic event. The person under hypnosis is aware of her current state while she maintains focus on a specific time in life. Sometimes, when a person is under hypnosis, she will go back in time and find information that she has forgotten because that information or experience caused severe emotional pain. This forgotten information can be the key to the healing process.
The unconscious mind has its way of protecting us from painful memories. According to some theories, some memories from the past can become blocked in our unconscious mind to protect us from experiencing the same traumatic memory. It is important to remember that these emotions will sooner or later find a way to express themselves or to get out of the mind. Usually, this happens through the body. From the holistic perspective of the therapy, this is the reason why people get highly sick sometimes. Of course, this is just one part of the probable cause: people get sick because of different reasons, but emotions trigger the body, and trauma affects every part of us. Remember that the body, mind, and psyche are a unit. Whatever happens in your mind will be experienced and felt in the body.
How do I get hypnotized?
Unlike what we have seen in the movies, hypnosis is not more than a deep relaxation and a trance state similar to meditation. The difference is that hypnosis is an active meditation type. It means that the person can talk while she is under hypnosis. It will be able to move, although this won’t be necessary. You will need to close your eyes, breathe, and relax. The therapist will guide you, and you, on your own, will be able to see, feel, and experience in your mind those past events that caused some kind of emotional discomfort or trauma. You will revive them or remember them again. It’s important to note that some memories will be more accessible to recall (usually belong to the subconscious mind).
In contrast, other memories repressed in a deeper layer of the mind will take more time and work. Here, Hypnosis is essential in helping the person go beyond those layers and find the suppressed memories. In some cases, I recommend doing extra therapy (for example, psychotherapy).
How will regression hypnosis help me to solve or improve my current emotional or health situation?
Regression hypnosis will not only help you to work on the past experiences that caused pain or trauma but will also help you release the internal pressure concerning the traumatic or painful situations. You will be able to recognize the emotions involved and feel them in some parts of your body. This tool will ultimately be powerful in releasing and transforming the pain into a new experience and belief. Remember that the body also stores trauma. During the hypnotic state, we will help the body to release this accumulated trauma.
In most cases, I also recommend different mindfulness techniques as extra help for this release. After the hypnosis, you will not see the traumatic or painful event the same way you did before. You will be able to work on your new perception of the problem. You will look at yourself differently.
EMOTIONS ARE ALSO ENERGY, and this energy can be transformed and released.
Origen Holístico uses a technique that works along with inner child therapy. The inner child (depending on what we work on) will show itself during the sessions. The inner child will give you the strength and compassion to work on the new beliefs. Even when the situation we work on does not belong to your childhood.
Concerning health problems, it's important to note that this therapy does not replace traditional medicine or other treatments.
With the holistic approaches I use in my practice, I help you understand how your body works with your mind. They are not separated. This healing process involves acknowledging and accepting our past, ourselves, and those others who belong in our lives.
